A headshot of Neha Agarwal.

Hi there, I’m Neha.

I’m a design leader with 20 years experience in digital product design, graphic design, and design education.

Background

My work is deeply influenced by my belief in the power of bringing together design, education, and social impact. This belief drives my career, shaping my approach to digital product design, creating learning experiences, designing for purpose-driven organizations, and community leadership.

💼 Work
In 2016, I transitioned from academia and graphic design to digital product design at Think Company, a digital product and service design consultancy. While there, I:

  • Led research, strategy, and design for enterprise tools and applications (select clients: Comcast Business, Merck, ASTM International)

  • Managed a team of product designers, guiding them through projects and career development

  • Recruited designers, staffed projects, and streamlined operations

  • Created training initiatives like Think University

  • Spearheaded the launch of a company-wide DEI program

💗 Passions
My passion for learning, teaching, and design intertwine in various ways:

  • Teaching part-time and giving talks in the design community

  • Conducting workshops and mentoring emerging designers

  • Serving on AIGA chapter boards

  • Engaging in freelance and pro-bono work for meaningful causes

  • Exploring and expressing my Indian American cultural identity through design

🎉 Play
Outside of work, you’ll find me:

  • Cooking for friends and family

  • Working on our house and gardening with my wife

  • Catching up with old friends while taking walks

  • Tinkering with the guitar (admittedly not very well)

  • Binge-watching shows (perhaps more than I should)

  • Dreaming of traveling the world full-time (if time and money allowed)
